The Ciggie Run returns to St Helens Theatre Royal from October 16-19.
Starring Brookside’s Louis Emerick alongside Kev Seed, Charlie Griffiths, Ben Engelen, John F Doull and Ozzie Yue, it tells the tale of three blokes who plan a ‘ciggie run’ to subsidise their income during the recession.
It started off as one of a series of short plays that cabbie-turned playwright John Evans created to be showcased at the Casa in Liverpool. Evans is also well known for another of the short plays Payback which was performed at the Unity Theatre in 2009.
