Fertile Ground, the North East’s professional graduate dance company, sets off on its 2016 tour, Dancing the Road, on Wednesday.
A triple bill of Eight Step by Malgorzata Dzieron, Era by James Wilton and Elephant Dances, devised by the company with Artistic Director Dora Frankel, opens on 11 May in the Arts Academy at Sunderland College Bede Campus before moving to Middlesbrough College on Friday 13.
On 14 May, Dancing the Road is part of the Newcastle-Gateshead Late Shows at the Sanctuary Artspace in St Edmunds Chapel, High Street, Gateshead (7 to 10PM).
