Charlie and the Chocolate Factory—the Musical

Tour dates have been announced for a new production of the West End and Broadway hit Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory—The Musical including Manchester Palace Theatre from July 4–30 next year.

It’s the tale of young golden ticket winner Charlie Bucket and the mysterious confectionery wizard Willy Wonka.

When Charlie wins a golden ticket, it’s a chance of a lifetime to feast on sweets. But beyond the gates astonishment awaits, as down the sugary corridors and amongst the incredible and edible delights, five lucky winners discover not everything is as sweet as it seems.

Featuring memorable songs from the 1970s film as well as new numbers.

Additional venues announced are Theatre Royal, Plymouth (June 7–18), Sunderland Empire (August 2–13), Mayflower, Southampton (August 16–September 3), Hull New Theatre (September 6–16), Bristol Hippodrome (September 20–October 8), Birmingham Hippodrome (October 17–November 5) and Liverpool Empire (November 8–26).
