Reanimator from Terror 2010

After winning a Best Entertainment award at last year's Off West End Awards, Terror returns to Soho Theatre for its ninth annual festival of horror and Grand Guignol theatre.

Writers reinventing Grang Guignol for the 21st Century in 2012 include Robert Farquhar (Kissing Sid James at Jermyn Street Theatre, Dead Heavy Fantastic at Liverpool Everyman), Alex Jones (Noise at Soho Theatre, Mickey and Me at Birmingham Rep), Mike McShane (Mon Droit at Edinburgh Fringe, Whose Line Is It Anyway? for Channel 4), and Darren Ormandy (The Big Telly Theatre and Cahoots NI in Northern Ireland).

The four plays will be interspersed with cabaret from Desmond O’Connor (Vive Le Cabaret) and Sarah-Louise Young (Cabaret Whore and Fascinating Aida).

Presented by experimental new writing company The Sticking Place, Terror will be at Soho Downstairs from 16 October to 3 November.
