The Cycle wheels into Salford

Published: 21 February 2019

Great Expectations Theatre’s new production The Cycle is at The Kings Arms Theatre, Salford March 20–22.

Jake and Katie appear to have it all: nice flat, glowing careers and madly in love with each other. But they soon discover the truth behind the phrase, “you don’t know someone until you live with them”.

The Cycle is new play based on real events by Richard Stringer "showcasing domestic violence as a human issue and not a gender one". According to the company, "by showing domestic violence against males, we aim to show that anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse whilst exploring reasons as to why men who are victims of domestic abuse stay in these relationships."
