Classic British sitcom The Good Life is being performed for the first time live on stage in Manchester from November 29 to December 9.
Bob Larbey, who wrote the series with John Esmonde, has given permission for its performance at the Lass O'Gowrie.
Voted ninth favourite in Britain's Greatest Sitcom poll, the four series from 1975-8 starred Felicity Kendall, Penelope Keith, Paul Eddington and Richard Briers.
The revival builds on the success of Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads, Porridge and Rising Damp.
The new cast features Mike Woodhead, Jane Leadbetter, Matthew Seber and Rachael Newton and the three episodes staged are The Last Posh Frock, Silly But It's Fun and Whose Fleas Are These?
Gareth Kavanagh, landlord of the Lass O'Gowrie said: "Even if you've haven't seen the original BBC series, you're in for a great night of comedy theatre".
