Winners of the auditions for Cinderella

Nearly 200 youngsters ages 8 to 15 came along to The Hawth on Sunday to audition as juvenile dancers in the Christmas pantomime.

Evolution producers Paul Hendy and Emily Wood and members of their team had the difficult task of choosing just 24 of the dancers to appears in three teams during the run of the pantomime Cinderella.

Running at The Hawth from Friday 13 December until Sunday 5 January, Cinderella stars Stephen Mulhern and Sid Sloane.

Hendy said, "This will be Evolution's first pantomime at The Hawth and we want it to be one of the most spectacular there's ever been at the theatre. The juvenile dancers, alongside the members of the cast, play an important part in that.

"The standard of dancing was incredible and we had an almost impossible task choosing between some very talented boys and girls. It's a great opportunity for those that got through the auditions and we've encouraged all the other applicants to keep at their dancing and develop their talents even further."

The children came from Crawley, East Grinstead, Herstmonceux, Redhill, Horley and Fleet in Hampshire.
