A comedy about Liverpool's most famous hospital will be back at the Royal Court Theatre this month.
The Royal is written by Lindzi Germain and Angela Simms, who also star alongside Lynn Francis, Daniel O’Brien and Alan Stocks. Cal McCrystal, who has previously directed The Scouse Nativity and Canoeing for Beginners, is also back on the team.
Reporters and celebrities are waiting outside the brand new Royal Liverpool University Hospital on the day it is set to open. The wards are ready, the machines are plugged in and all of the patients have been moved across. Well, nearly all of them…
Kevin Fearon, executive producer at the Royal Court, said, “our audience always give this show great feedback”.
The Royal runs from March 11–April 9.
