The Theatres Trust has released its shortlist for its People's Choice Award for environmentally-sustainable products in the theatre industry.
The candidates are Core Lighting for the Core Theatre Worklight, ETC for both the Source Four Dimmer and the Source Four LED, Martin for the MAC Aura, Robert Juliat for the TIBO LED, ShowTex for the Acoustic Baffle fabric panels and State Automation for the INCAND-Air 30 LED downlight system.
Products have been nominated by manufacturers exhibiting at PLASA 2012 from those they believe to making a significant difference to the resource efficiency of theatres. The winner will be selected by a public vote and will be presented at 4:30PM on Tuesday 11 September on The Theatres Trust's stand at PLASA.
The Theatres Trust will also present three seminars at PLASA on 10 and 11 September: Energising Culture: Powering our Cultural Venues, Entertainment technology - How can it help theatres achieve the triple bottom line? and Evaluating Ecovenue.
PLASA (Professional Lighting and Sound Association) 2012 will be at Earl's Court in London from 9 to 12 September.
