Following The Dukes Creative Adventures in Dementia festival in Lancaster, another three events have been organised this summer for people with memory loss.

A classic film musical, a patchwork session, storytelling and dance round off a busy season of events at the venue.

Artist Rebecca Willmott leads a Patchwork Stories workshop on June 11. A week later—on June 18—there’s another popular film screening, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, the Oscar-winning musical starring Howard Keel and Jane Powell.

The final event of the current A Life More Ordinary season is a Storytelling & Dance session where regulars Steve Fairclough and Anna Daly team up on July 9 to deliver movement-based stories linked to local themes.

Both creative sessions run from 2:30 to 4PM and are free but places are limited so advance booking is recommended.

Details can be found on the Dukes web site.
