Worcester Repertory Company is to perform an outdoor version of Alexandre Dumas’s The Three Musketeers, which has been adapted by Paul Milton, creative director of the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham.
Five actors will play all the characters in the production. Hollie Christian-Brookes will take the roles of D’Artagnan and Constance; Charlie Ryan will be Porthos, King Louis, Monsieur de Treville and John Felton; Nathan Blyth will play Aramis, Comte de Rochefort, Duke of Buckingham and Monsieur Bonacieux; Rob Holman will appear as Athos and Cardinal Richelieu; Alexandra Whitworth will play Lady de Winter and Queen Anne.
Directed by Owen Harper, this “funny, fast-paced, action-packed production breathes new life into this piece of classic French literature”. It marks Worcester Repertory Company’s 17th outdoor show in The Commandery, Sidbury, Worcester and will run from Wednesday 10 until Sunday 21 July.
