Thrills in store as Nottingham season extends to five weeks

Murdered to Death, Classic Thriller SeasonThe Colin McIntyre Classic Thriller Season is returning to Nottingham’s Theatre Royal after a record-breaking year.

The Classic Thrillers company will be taking up residency for an extra week and putting on five plays.

The season gets under way this week with Whodunnit by Anthony Shaffer running from tomorrow (Monday) until Saturday.

Francis Durbridge plays are a regular feature of the programme and his play Murder in the Small Hours follows from 6 until 11 August.

Tim Kelly’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein should have theatergoers on the edge of their seats from 13 until 18 August.

The Final Twist by Ken Whitmore and Alfred Bradley takes over from 20 until 25 August and the season ends with Brian Clemens’s Shock! from 28 August until 1 September.
