Too Much World At Once

Set against a backdrop of the climate crisis, Too Much World At Once, the debut from writer Billie Collins, is a coming-of-age story of growing up queer in rural England.

Collins was selected for the 2022 BBC Writersroom Northern Voices cohort and was part of Film Hub North's 2020 Script Lab, and now will be premièring her first play in Manchester before touring.

In a story of a boy transformed into a bird, the show touches on themes of family and belonging.

It’s at HOME, Manchester March 3–11; Theatre by the Lake, Keswick, March 20; Epstein Theatre, Liverpool March 23; The Arts Centre, Edge Hill University March 28; Brewery Arts, Kendal March 29; Northern Stage, Newcastle, March 30–April 1; The Met, Bury April 5; Hull Truck Theatre, April 20–21.
