Oldham Coliseum present Accidental Death of an Anarchist from March 7-22.

Dario Fo’s fast-moving masterpiece of comic absurdity comes with a touch of slapstick. The author referred to the play as a “grotesque farce”, whilst elsewhere it has been referred to as a “satirical burlesque”.

Although written in 1970, the play lives up to its label as a classic by remaining up-to-the-minute and politically sharp.

This Oldham Coliseum production has been adapted by playwright and Coronation Street actress Deborah McAndrew. Each performance will be unique as the cast add topical inserts from the day’s news into the show.
