Touch of Hay Fever for Oldham

Hay Fever at Oldham Coliseum

Noël Coward’s Hay Fever is the next Oldham Coliseum Theatre production from June 14 – 29.

Set in an English country house in the 1920s achingly-polite guests unknowingly stumble into the midst of their host family’s feuds, tantrums, outlandish behaviour and resentment.

Originally written in 1924, it remains a brilliant example of Coward at his best—razor sharp and as dry as a martini.

Fans of the 2011 Coliseum production of Private Lives, also written by Coward, will recognise cast members Jackie Morrison and James Simmons who played the lead roles of Elyot and Amanda. The pair combine once more to this time portray the glamorously eccentric Judith and her tortured writer husband David.
