Daniel Taylor is to take Something About George—The George Harrison Story on the road ahead of Edinburgh Fringe performances.

It pays tribute to the “quiet Beatle” and is performed as a one-man, one-act festival version for one week at the Assembly Festival Gardens in Coventry, UK City of Culture and then at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

A new two-hour show, with visuals, soundscape and set design will be performed at other venues—with Taylor joined by three other musicians.

It opens at The Haymarket Basingstoke June 9 before moving on to The Beggar’s Theatre Millom (June 11), St Helens Theatre Royal (June 16), Epstein Theatre Liverpool (June 18-19), Coventry Assembly Festival Garden (June 21, 23 and 25), The Mill Arts Centre Banbury (June 30) and King’s Hall Ilkley (July 8). It will then perform at The Bijou in Edinburgh August 4–18.

2022 dates will be followed by an extensive tour planned for 2023.
