Rambert at full stretch

Rambert returns to The Lowry May 25–27 with three contrasting short pieces: the first ever performance of Alonzo King’s work by a UK dance company, the world première of a Ben Duke creation and a reworking from live-stream to stage.

Eye Candy by choreographic sibling duo Imre and Marne van Opstal shows the pains and pleasures of inhabiting the human body through a modern lens.

Cerberus combines Ben Duke’s signature theatrical stamp on dance with spoken word and surreal comedy.

Rambert closes the evening with Alonzo King’s Following the Subtle Current Upstream, marking the first time a UK company performs the work of one of the USA’s most acclaimed choreographers.
