The Room: The Musical: premiere at Buxton

Writer Ed Greenwood has adapted Tommy Wiseau’s The Room —“the Citizen Kane of bad movies”—into a musical which gets its première at Buxton Fringe.

The Room: The Musical is about Tommy, a great guy with a great life but everything crumbles when his future wife Lisa seeks the “trouser delights” of his best friend Mark. It’s “the age-old love story of man and woman, best friend, sexually aggressive goblin-boy, kleptomaniac mother, unreliable zookeeper and some guy called Peter”.

Two Spoons Productions from York will stage The Room: The Musical in Underground Venues on Monday 20 and Wednesday 22 July at 7PM and Tuesday 21 July at 8:45PM.
