Andrew Lancel in Swan Song

Following sell-out shows at Liverpool Theatre Festival and a Northern tour, Swan Song, a revised comedy by playwright Jonathan Harvey, is heading to The Coro in Ulverston prior to a London run.

The one-man play stars Andrew Lancel and is directed by BAFTA-winning director Noreen Kershaw and produced by Bill Elms.

The play will open at London’s Turbine Theatre for seven performances from November 29 to December 4 but in Ulverston there are two performances November 19–20.

Swan Song was first staged at Edinburgh Fringe in 1997, before transferring to Hampstead Theatre with comedy actress Rebecca Front in the lead role. Harvey adapted the 70-minute play for Lancel.
