Unity Theatre's new season in Liverpool has epic tales, world premières, adaptations of cult classics and acclaimed comedy from some of the UK's best companies and homegrown talent.
The headline production is a new adaptation of Bulakov's The Master and Margarita (October 1-12) produced with Lodestar Theatre. Using puppetry, video mapping and projection, animation, magic and performance, it turns this cult novel into an intriguing stage production.
Following the sell-out success of 2012's Hansel and Gretel. Unity is also continuing in partnership with Action Transport Theatre to create a song, dance and music adaptation of The Pied Piper.
Unity is also working with RAW Theatre Company to develop a new adult Christmas show—For One Night Only—following the fall and fall of comedians Bernie and Les as they try to save the failing Sunshine Club.
They are also hosting the world première of Caz n Britney's Mis Les as they follow up their hit musical Scottie Road The Musical.
Visiting national companies include Theatre Ad Infinitum, Volcano Theatre Company, Improbable and Tmesis.
