Tickets for the Theatre for Wakefield Project shows Blow Down and Curious Investigators are now available.
The shows are part of a project which aims to deepen the reach and impact of cultural offerings in the area by taking high-quality theatre to three non-traditional theatre venues: The Grove Hall in South Kirkby, The Queen’s Mill in Castleford and The Cluntergate Centre in Horbury with tickets at £5 or below.
The project will bring four theatre shows in total to Wakefield.
Blow Down is a play which marks the recent demolition of the iconic cooling towers at Ferrybridge Power Station created using stories collected from the communities.
Curious Investigators, a One-Tenth Human production, is an interactive engineering adventure for 3- to 7-year-olds and their grown-ups, created in collaboration with engineering experts from Lancaster University.
