Commissions available: Shut Down but Scratching

A night of original live performance is being organised by Shoot Festival which showcases “the best emerging talent in Coventry and Warwickshire”.

Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre and Coventry City of Culture Trust are supporting Shut Down but Scratching. It is offering a series of commissions of £200 to artists including theatre makers and dancers who consider themselves to be “early career” and who live in CV postcodes. Work should be in response to the theme “imagine”. Pieces should be between five and 10 minutes long. The work must be ready to share at the scratch night on Wednesday 15 April.

The deadline for applications to Shut Down but Scratching is 10AM on Monday 6 April. More information is available at the Shoot Festival web site.
