Gary Clarke Company's Wasteland comes to Contact Manchester in February.
Created to mark the 25th anniversary of the demolition of Grimethorpe Colliery and 30 years since the rise of UK rave culture, the new dance theatre show is a sequel to award-winning production COAL.
Wasteland looks at how two different generations coped in this turbulent era of radical upheaval as industrial Britain fell and a new subculture emerged.
It comes to Manchester as part of its 2023 tour, with performances at Contact February 1–3.
