Waterside Arts Centre in Sale, Manchester will offer a large range of free activities for its open weekend on 8 and 9 September.
Between 10AM and 3PM, there will be sound and lighting demonstrations in the theatre, dance performances hosted by Nicola from Dance Initiative Greater Manchester, sketches from Comedy Sportz, drama and music sessions, activities for children including a clown, balloon modelling, badge making and craft sessions plus food stalls, an ice cream van and treats from the Vintage Afternoon Tearoom.
The weekend is also part of the national Heritage Open Days scheme, and so there is a chance to explore Waterside Arts Centre and Sale Town Hall on Sunday 9 September from 11AM to 4PM.
