Beauty and the Beast continues at Newcastle Theatre Royal until 19 January.

CaroleW Productions brings Back of the Attic’s Going South!, a tragic, comic yet moving story of derring-do and camaraderie in Scott’s ill-fated expedition to the Antarctic, to Newcastle's Literary and Philosophical Society on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Saturday, I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue with Tim Brooke-Taylor, Tony Hawks, Miles Jupp, Richard Osman and host Jack Dee with Colin Sell on the piano comes to Sunderland Empire.

On Friday, less is MORE brings the Miss Crispy 1988 to the Gala Theatre in Durham, celebrating the company’s tenth anniversary. Then on Saturday, Spontaneous Potter, an entirely improvised Harry Potter comedy play based on an audience suggestion of a fanfiction title, comes to the theatre.

At 7:00 on Thursday at Arc Stockton, Full Circle Theatre Company presents In The Middle of Our Street, a Little Cog production in partnership with ARC.

On Thursday, Entertainment Unlimited presents Dirty Dusting at Middlesbrough Theatre, followed on Friday by Ballet Theatre UK’s The Wizard of Oz.

Snow White continues at Harrogate Theatre until 19 January.
