At The Theatre Royal from Monday to Saturday, the new Peter James Roy Grace thriller, Looking Good Dead, comes to Newcastle.

The Weebles, one of Northern Stage’s Neighbourhood Events, is an audio experience which can be listened to on Littlehaven Beach in South Shields, where the group of statues called Conversation Piece but known locally as The Weebles is sited, or at home until 31 August. SA Productions’ Godspell, which had to be cancelled due to the necessity for a cast member to self-isolate, has been rescheduled at The Customs House for Wednesday at 2:30 and 7:30.

On Friday and Saturday (various times), Horrible Histories presents Gorgeous Georgians & Vile Victorians. This show has been moved from The Gala Theatre to the amphitheatre at Wharton Park. Seating is on grassed banks so audiences are advised to bring blankets to sit on.

The Ugly Bug Hotel is a 15-minute interactive experience aimed at ages 0 to 2 for one group at a time with a maximum of 4 adults and 3 children per performance. Part of Hullabaloo in the Park from Theatre Hullabaloo. Full details on the Hullabaloo web site.

On Tuesday at 7:45, Harrogate Theatre presents Luke Wright's The Ballad Seller in the upper level performance space at Coldbath Brewery. Then on Friday and Saturday at 6:00 Immersion Theatre presents The Jungle Book at RHS Harlow Carr Garden. This is an outdoor performance. For details go to the Harrogate Theatre web site.
