Like a VirginMidnight Tango is at the Newcastle Theatre Royal from Tuesday to Saturday.

The Live Theatre / Northern Stage co-production of Close the Coalhouse Door opens at Northern Stage on Friday and runs until 5th May.

Reform Theatre Company in association with Harrogate Theatre presents Like A Virgin by Gordon Steel at the Customs House in South Shields on Saturday.

London Classic Theatre brings Equus to Alnwick Playhouse on Thursday.

Like A Virgin is at the Queen's Hall, Hexham, on Wednesday. This is followed on Friday by Roll Out the Beryl written and performed by Elaine Pantling.

Hormonal Housewives comes to Whitley Bay Playhouse on Friday and Saturday.

At 1pm and 3.30pm Fireman Sam is live at Billingham Forum.

Berth by Natalie Scott, a collection of dramatic stories commemorating the centenary of the Titanic, is at Arc, Stockton, on Friday and Saturday. Also on Saturday PULSE is the regional dance platform to select a group to represent the North East at U.Dance 2012.

The touring production of The Wizard of Oz comes to Darlington Civic on Thursday and Friday.

Roll Out the Beryl comes to the Georgian Theatre in Richmond on Thursday and there will be a matinee performance of The Ugly Duckling by Kipper Tie Theatre Company at 2pm on Saturday.

Children's show Little Red... You Know Who for ages 3-7 is in Harrogate Theatre's Studio from Thursday to Saturday, whilst in the Main House on Friday and Saturday Fat Brenda: My Flamin' Story, about an unknown Coronation Street character plays prior to a national tour.
