At the Newcastle Theatre Royal this week Northern Ballet performs A Midsummer Night’s Dream from Tuesday to Saturday with two performances of The Ugly Duckling during the day on Friday. On Friday and Saturday Retail (A Show about Selling) comes to the Studio.
From Tuesday to Saturday the West End Operatic Society brings Summer Holiday to Northern Stage.
Wet House, a new play by Paddy Campbell, opens at Live Theatre on Wednesday and runs until 5th October.
On Saturday Philippe Blanchard and the Stifani Brothers present Original Copy at Dance City.
Lives of Others Theatre presents Floating at Arts Centre Washington on Thursday. On Saturday it’s the turn of an interactive performance and creative play session for young children, Sparkle, aimed at ages 0–2 (10.30am) and 2–4 (noon and 2.30pm).
Retail comes to the Customs House Studio on Tuesday.
On Thursday and Friday Black Coffee Theatre presents Found at Alnwick Playhouse.
London Festival Opera brings A Night at the Opera to Durham’s Gala Theatre on Saturday.
Black Coffee’s Found is at ARC Stockton on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Ha Ha Holmes! stars Joe Pasquale at Darlington Civic on Tuesday.
Royal Flush comes to the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond on Friday.
Northern Broadsides’ The Grand Gesture continues in the Harrogate Theatre Main House until Saturday while Reform Theatre’s Stand also runs until Saturday in the Studio.
