At the Theatre Royal from Monday to Saturday, The Two Worlds of Charlie F is performed by serving and veteran soldiers, and explores the effects of injury and its impact on others, before, during and after.

Catch-22 continues at Northern Stage until 10 May. On Thursday, the theatre's regular scratch night, First in 3, runs in Stage 3.

Incognito continues in Live Theatre's main house until Saturday while on Wednesday in the Studio there will be a double bill of rehearsed readings of two new plays: Day of the Flymo by Paddy Campbell and Peter Pam by Lee Mattinson. On Thursday, also in the Studio, there will be a rehearsed reading of a commissioned work-in-progress by Richard Stockwell, Continuum.

Barcelona Red is at Dance City on Saturday. Inspired by clothing designer Alexander McQueen's collections, this piece examines how what you wear can be seen as a façade which hides the real you.

War Horse comes to Sunderland Empire from Wednesday until 10 May.

The Moon Cannot Be Stolen is at Arts Centre Washington on Thursday.

On Sunday 4 May Red Table Theatre brings The Just So Stories to the Customs House in South Shields at 1:30PM.

Dyad Productions presents The Unremarkable Death of Marilyn Monroe at The Maltings in Berwick on Saturday.

On Tuesday Reform Theatre's Kissing Sid James comes to the Queen's Hall in Hexham.

Jaye Kearney presents one-woman show One at ARC Stockton on Thursday.

Hot Flush! - The Musical is at Darlington Civic on Tuesday.

Also on Tuesday 412 Dance Theatre presents Super Cool Love - A 21st Century Love Story at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond.

Kissing Sid James is at Harrogate Theatre from Wednesday to Saturday.
