The touring production of Top Hat comes to the Theatre Royal in Newcastle from Tuesday until 20th September.

I Promise You Sex and Violence continues in Stage 2 at Northern Stage until 20th September and in Stage 1 Cat on a Hot Tin Roof opens on Friday and continues until 27th.

Perfect Wedding, produced by Ion Productions, comes to the Customs House in South Shields from Wednesday to Saturday.

Reform Theatre Company brings John Godber's Bouncers to Middlesbrough Theatre on Thursday.

From Tuesday to Saturday (times vary each day) Scamp Theatre presents Michael Morpurgo's Private Peaceful at Darlington Civic.

World War 1 play Talbot House is at Saltburn Arts on Friday.
