On Wednesday and Thursday Daniel Bye presents Going Viral, a preview of his new Edinburgh Fringe show, at Northern Stage.

DieHard Gateshead by local writer Ruth Raynor is at Alphabetti Theatre on Tuesday. There’s “enough drama” at the Women’s Group and some people are losing the plot. If Noel Edmonds and Bruce Willis can’t help, who can?

On Thursday, DieHard Gateshead moves to the Caedmon Hall in Gateshead.

Love Me Tender, the new musical based on the hits of Elvis Presley and starring Mica Paris, is at Sunderland Empire from Monday to Saturday.

DieHard Gateshead comes to Arts Centre Washington on Wednesday.

Children’s show Hugless Douglas (for 3- to 7-year-olds) comes to Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre on Saturday at 2PM.

Another children’s show, Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom, is at Billingham Forum in Saturday and Sunday (Various times: contact the theatre for details).

6:12 presents a double bill of plays by Samuel Beckett, Come and Go and Play, in the Harrogate Theatre Studio from Wednesday to Saturday. On Sunday evening at 7PM in the Valley Gardens, Bronzehead Theatre presents Richard II.
