Potteries favourites Jonathan Wilkes and Christian Patterson are to team up again for Cinderella, the 2016 panto at Stoke’s Regent Theatre.

Wilkes will be performing in his 11th panto at the Regent and Patterson in his eighth. In 2015 they played Smee and Captain Hook in Peter Pan.

Wilkes said, “it’s brilliant to be coming back to my home town of Stoke-on-Trent for another amazing panto at the Regent. This year, it’s Cinderella and I can’t wait to have a ball!”

A spokesperson for production company First Family Entertainment said, “Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Jonny Wilkes appearing in the Regent Theatre panto. He’s one of the best panto performers around—there are so few people now who can sing, dance, act and be funny. Jonny has it all and is a great person to work with.”

Cinderella will play at the Regent Theatre from Thursday 8 December until Sunday 8 January 2017.
