Jonny Phere with the cast of When.Will.I.Will.I.Be Famous

A special group of Lancaster actors have been getting to grips with their latest roles in more ways than one.

The Shattering Images theatre company have added some muscle to their forthcoming show at The Dukes in the city—in the shape of professional wrestler Jonny Phere.

Jonny, previously known as The Pyschotic Warrior, will be appearing in When. Will. I. Will. I. Be Famous at the Lancaster theatre May 21-23.

Jonny, who has been a wrestler for 13 years, will be playing himself in a production inspired by television talent shows. Just days before The Dukes play opens, he will also be seen on TV when he appears in the ITV series Weekend Escapes with Warwick Davis.

Most of the cast are aged 16-40 and have learning needs. They have helped to devise and create this annual production which plans to be a thought-provoking musical theatre show full of laughs.
