Thinking about the future: young people can sign up for online sessions

Young people in Derby are being provided with a professional online platform to share their ideas of a reimagined future beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of #Reimagine2020, youngsters aged between 13 and 25 are being invited to take part in a five-week project working with a range of artists from Derby Theatre, arts organisation Baby People, dance centre Déda, contemporary art space Artcore and West Yorkshire theatre company Wrongsemble.

The online sessions will offer young people the chance to explore how the world has changed under lockdown and what they can imagine for the future.

They can submit a creative response using performance, art skills, photography, poetry, song or a short film which should be emailed to [email protected] using #Reimagine2020 creative response in the subject line. Applications will close at 5PM on Monday 25 May.

Further information is available at the Derby Theatre web site.
