Sheffield-based Forced Entertainment is presenting a public rehearsed reading of That Night Follows Day with Manchester’s Contact Theatre, performed by local young people.
The piece, performed by children but written for an adult audience, explores how what adults say and do shape a child’s world—the truths, half truths, white lies they tell. In this performance, however, it’s the children who get to speak and the adults who have to listen.
Forced Entertainment and Contact are looking for young people aged between 8 and 14 who are confident readers and team players, to be performers in this event. The first step is to come along to the audition workshop on Saturday September 21.
