Deep Waters, devised by the company and skilfully directed by Sheila Mander, explores the ravish and torment caused by the recent flooding in Gloucester.
The nine actors use a variety of dance, drama and music to great effect as we travel through their lives, ambitions and heroism.
The floods caused devastation and heartbreak to the folk and these stories are vividly brought to life. The mother losing her child as the storms carried the little girl away. There is the ineffectual reaction of the government to the disaster.
The sheer power of the water is cleverly realised with the use of torches and ribbons counterpointed by some beautiful projected photographs.
This is an emotional and physical adventure reminded you about the unmitigated forcefulness of nature, especially with the torrential rain that Edinburgh is now experiencing.
