Z Theatre Company
theSpace on Niddry Street

This energetic young company from Hull University's Drama department explore the trials and tribulation of being a teenager at school.

It is filled with stereotypical characters and situations such as concern about body image, parents splitting up and the pressures of exams. We have the bully, the nerd, the swat and the rivalry between the boys and the girls.

When a supply teacher arrives to cover an absent teacher's Politics lesson they end up writing a song to find out more about themselves.

The show is well sung with some lively choreography. As they said, "teenagers just need to be heard."

Unfortunately this production ends up being like a bad episode of Glee.
