Greyhounds takes place in a 1941 community club rehearsing a production of Henry V while war goes on around them.
As World War II noisily rages around, Shuttlefield Club organizer Ruby Winters (Catherine Cowdrey) has taken on the responsibility of directing the locals in a production of Henry V.
Her too droll sister, Katherine (Laura Crow), is gently wooed by Will Croft (Jacob Taylor). Fiona Primrose (Nancy Wilde) seems to have the knack for Shakespeare with some of the more weighty speeches.
Tim Cooper rounds out the cast as Edward Holmes. Much gossip, tea and air raids seem to elbow out the rehearsals.
This tight script by Laura Crow with a little Shakespeare is deftly directed by Jacqueline Wheble. Lights and sound are managed well by Paul Wilson and his bow tie.
