Men are from Mars Women are from Venus

Based on John Gray's book
Sally Humphreys' Production
Underbelly Bristo Square

Based on John Gray’s highly successful book, Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus is a stage version of this self help guide to relationships.

It’s part interactive seminar and part comedy sketch and Ian Houghton presents this with a warmth and delightful empathy with the audience.

The premise is that men and women live on two different planets and everyone has been confronted with the irrational or incomprehensible behavior on the part of the opposite sex.

Houghton uses the analogy of a driving licence with points to help us understand male and female relationships and it certainly struck resonances with many of the couples present.

There are some wonderful anecdotes and all aspects of human relationships are explored including sex with many references to cooking—you had to be there.

Audience participation abounds and this was an amusing and enlightening hour.
