Pot – tour starts 26 September

Pot comes from the pen of writer and actress Ambreen Razia who has been commissioned by BBC Three for a pilot of her successful play Diary of a Hounslow Girl.

This new work looks at the violent world of inner-city gang culture and how vulnerable young people become trapped a cycle of knife crime, gang warfare and drugs.

It is directed by Gate Theatre creative associate Sophie Moniram and dramaturgy is by Neil Grutchfield. It is an Ovalhouse commission and presented by Ambreen Razia, Ovalhouse and Rua Arts.

Pot visits Stratford Circus Arts Centre London, Queen’s Hall Arts Centre Hexham, Brighton Dome at Dorothy Stringer School, The Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre Taunton, Ovalhouse London, Old Fire Station Oxford and Bernie Grant Arts Centre London.

Dracula – tour starts 28 September

Bram Stoker’s classic horror Dracula has been re-imagined for this new stage adaptation which receives its world première when it opens on tour at Everyman Theatre Cheltenham.

Darkly chilling and sexy, Dracula is adapted by Jenny King and directed by Eduard Lewis; Ben Hart is the illusion designer, Sara Green is the movement director and music and sound design is by Paul Ewin.

This is a Touring Consortium Theatre Company Production in association with Everyman Theatre Cheltenham and Ewing Entertainment. The Touring Consortium Theatre Company, is a collaborative partnership with seven regional large-scale touring theatres.

Dracula visits Everyman Theatre Cheltenham, Theatre Royal Nottingham, Churchill Theatre Bromley, Hull New Theatre, King’s Theatre Edinburgh, Darlington Hippodrome, Blackpool Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre and Alhambra Theatre Bradford.

Macbeth – tour starts 29 September

Michael Nardone, whose credits include television's The Night Manager, takes the title role in the National Theatre’s tour of Macbeth. Beside him as Lady Macbeth is Kirsty Besterman.

Also in the cast are Joseph Brown, Elizabeth Chan, Nisa Cole, Reuben Johnson, Helen Katamba, Tom Mannion, Brad Morrison, Hauk Pattison, Evelyn Roberts, James Robinson, Patrick Robinson, Duncan Ross, Rachel Sanders, Olivia Sweeney, Deka Walmsley, Ross Waiton and Lisa Zahra.

Rufus Norris directs; the associate director is Liz Stevenson, the fight director is Kev McCurdy and the movement director is Cydney Uffindell-Phillips, with original movement direction by Imogen Knight. Music is by Orlando Gough and Marc Tritschler.

Macbeth will tour to The Lowry Salford, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Festival Theatre Edinburgh, Theatre Royal Norwich, His Majesty’s Theatre Aberdeen, Theatre Royal Newcastle, Lyceum Sheffield, Theatre Royal Bath, New Theatre Oxford, Bord Gáis Energy Theatre Dublin, Theatre Royal Nottingham, New Theatre Hull, Marlowe Theatre Canterbury, Theatre Royal Glasgow, Mayflower Southampton, Grand Opera House Belfast, Grand Theatre Wolverhampton and Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff.
