Ten years of Horrible Histories

There is a busy year in store for the Birmingham Stage Company (BSC) as it celebrates ten years of Horrible Histories Live On Stage.

As part of the celebrations Barmy Britain – Part Three! will première in London's West End whilst nine other shows will tour nationally and internationally including four other world premières.

The series is written by best-selling author Terry Deary and BSC actor-manager Neal Foster. The new show features the most up-to-date moments in history such as the 800th year of the signing of the Magna Carta.

Amongst the other premières are Groovy Greeks and Incredible Invaders which use actors and 3D Bogglevision special effects.

Barmy Britain – Part Three! stars Neal Foster and Anthony Spargo. It plays Trowbridge Civic Centre for two dates in July and then the Garrick Theatre from the 25 July, becoming the longest-running show for children in West End history.

Horrible Histories are recommended for ages 6 and up.
