Tristan Bernays in Bread and Beer

Solar Productions presents the first tour of acclaimed writer and performer Tristan Bernays at The Lowry in Salford on June 27.

Following its successful run at The Underbelly during Edinburgh Festival 2013 The Bread and The Beer is described by one critic as a 'one-man Jerusalem'.

Over an action-packed 50 minutes, Bernays tells the tale of John Barleycorn—the wild-eyed, long-haired god of drink, dance and madness—as he reawakens after thousands of years of sleep beneath the stone and mortar of modern London.
