Naomi's Flight - an aerial performance about living with dementia

Leading dementia care organisation Dementia Care Matters has commissioned US company In-Flight Theatre to do an aerial performance about living with a dementia at a conference on the subject.

The play, Naomi's Flight, will also have three public performances at Hove's The Old Market Theatre this week, after premièring at the Congress.

The performance mixes theatrical storytelling with aerial acrobatics to reveal the love story of 80-year-old George caring for his wife Naomi who has Alzheimer's disease.

Naomi’s Flight is written by Mara Neimanis and is based on her own family's experience of dealing with dementia.
