Derby Theatre has announced that its Christmas show for 2020 will be an adaptation of Aladdin by Mike Kenny.
The “fabulously festive high-flying production of friendship, music, magic lamps and making wishes” will aim to match the success of the 2019 production A Christmas Carol which is the theatre’s best-selling Christmas show.
Aladdin, which will be directed by Derby Theatre artistic director Sarah Brigham and will feature original songs by Ivan Stott, will run from Friday 27 November 2020 until Saturday 2 January 2021.
