And the Beat Goes On is the new play by Olivier Award-winning playwright Stef Smith which is touring Scotland over March and April.
The play concerns Sonny & Cher fans Peter and Lily and the tragedy behind their obsession with the famous duo.
Smith wrote the piece for Johnny McKnight and Julie Brown who are joined on stage by Julie Wilson Nimmo.
Director and designer Kenny Miller said, “audiences can expect a slightly sinister but ultimately thought-provoking play about the fragility of two people trapped in a cycle of despair.”
And The Beat Goes On is presented by Horsecross Arts and Random Accomplice; the show is not suitable for those under 14. It opens at Tron Theatre, Glasgow on 24 March then tours to
