After winning the TMA Award for Promotion of Diversity, Manchester Contact has now been named as Inclusive Venue of the Year in the Co-operative Respect Loved By You Awards, 2013.
Queer Contact 2013 was the runner-up in the Inclusive Event of the Year category. The Secret Diaries of A Teenage Queer was a work-in-progress sharing as part of Queer Contact 2013 and won the award for Theatre Event of the Year (beating runners up Wicked and The Pride to the top spot).
Written by Sarah Evans and produced by Art With Heart, Contact staff member Rachel Moorhouse worked on the show in 2013 and is currently in rehearsals for the 2014 tour.
