There will be another Twelfth Night to celebrate next month when a radical version of Shakespeare’s classic play comes to The Dukes in Lancaster.

Following a critically-acclaimed London run and an extensive UK and international tour, Filter Theatre returns to the venue from February 11-15 during the city’s Season of Shakespeare.

Originally commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company’s former Artistic Director Michael Boyd as part of the Complete Works Festival, Filter’s interpretation of this well-worn classic reaffirms their reputation as one of the more inventive theatre companies.

In this production, nothing is hidden and no two shows are the same: decisions on the direction of the performance are taken on the hoof as the narrative unfolds, and each performance develops in a different way.

The last time this production was staged at The Dukes, it played to sell-out audiences and is recommended for anyone aged 14 plus.
