Ambassador Theatre Group's Rosemary Squire is in BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour Power List

The inaugural BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour Power List seeks to identify the 100 most powerful women in the UK in terms of their impact on British politics, society, culture and the economy.

Joint CEO of the Ambassador Theatre Group, Rosemary Squire, was placed at number 16 by a panel of judges that comprised Priti Patel MP, Dawn O’Porter, Val McDermid, Baroness Oona King and former editor of Woman’s Hour, Jill Burridge and was chaired by Eve Pollard.

Rosemary Squire has said It’s an incredible honour to appear on this list with such inspirational women and it’s great to see theatre recognised as a powerful and influential industry in the 21st Century.”

Squire was just ahead of The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport Maria Miller MP. Jude Kelly OBE, artistic director at the Southbank Centre, London is also listed together with performers including comedian Sarah Millican.
