All That Fall will play Bristol Old Vic and Wilton's Music Hall

Samuel Beckett’s one-act radio play All That Fall will be performed to blindfolded audiences in a new adaptation of the work from theatre company Out Of Joint.

The play, described by Beckett as "a text written to come out of the dark”, was first broadcast in 1957 and will be directed by Max Stafford-Clark with a surround-sound design by Dyfan Jones.

Tony Award-winner Bríd Brennan takes the lead role of Maddy Rooney who plans a birthday surprise for her blind husband when she meets him at the railway station; Brennan is joined by Killian Burke, Frank Laverty, Gary Lilburn and Ciaran McIntyre, with further casting to be announced.

This production was created for, and co-produced with, the Happy Days Enniskillen International Beckett Festival.

All That Fall will play Bristol Old Vic from 8 to 12 March and Wilton’s Music Hall in London from 22 March to 9 April. It is suitable for those aged 14+.
