Blood Brothers tour continues into the autumn

Marti Pellow returns to play Narrator Credit: Keith Pattison

Marti Pellow is back in the national tour of Willy Russell's multi–award winning Blood Brothers this autumn.

Pellow, who plays Narrator, came to fame as the as the lead singer of band Wet Wet Wet. His recent musical theatre credits include staring roles Evita and Blood Brothers as well as The Witches Of Eastwick, Chess and Chicago.

Pellow will be joined by Maureen Nolan, who reprises her role as Mrs Johnstone. She has played Mrs Johnstone in the West End and on tour and is the fourth Nolan sister, from girl band The Nolans, to play the role.

Marti Pellow will play selected theatres from 8 September. Currently the tour visits New Wimbledon Theatre, The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury,Cardiff New Theatre, Crawley's Hawth Theatre, Weston-Super-Mare's The Playhouse, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre and Southampton's Mayflower Theatre with further venues to be announced.
